Lissa Green-Stark, Esq., Partner
Lissa Green-Stark is an accomplished litigator with extensive experience representing prisoners and victims of police misconduct in civil rights matters, including individuals who have suffered false arrests, malicious prosecutions, and been victims of excessive force at the hands of police and correction officers. Ms. Green-Stark possesses considerable trial experience, appellate experience, including arguing before the Second Circuit Court of Appeals, and is a skilled legal writer.
Prior to joining Klein Civil Rights, Ms. Green-Stark, worked at founding partner Brett Kleinβs predecessor firm, and prior to that worked as a public defender, where she gained extensive experience defending individuals in criminal matters.
Lissa Green-Stark earned her J.D. from Boston University School of Law, where she served as an Editor for the Public Interest Law Journal and as a board member for Boston University School of Lawβs Public Interest Project. Ms. Green-Stark is admitted to practice in the State of New York and before the Second Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.
Ms. Green-Stark has been selected by the National Trial Lawyers: Top 100 as one of the Top 100 Civil Plaintiff Trial Lawyers in New York, an honor given to only a select group of lawyers for their superior skills and qualifications in the field.
